Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

My individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapy sessions are tailored to your needs, providing a safe and confidential environment thats person centred yet structured.
Cognitive behavioural therapy looks at how our thoughts, emotions, bodily sensation and behaviours are all connected. It means that what we think, leads to an emotional response, which is then felt in the body leading to a coping response. CBT is about identifying patterns that perhaps helped you to cope but sometimes get you in tangle making you feel anxious long term.
CBT is different to counselling as it tends to be more structured and makes use of techniques that are tailored to your individual difficulty.

Hypopressives

Hypopressives are a series of postural and breathing exercises designed to reduce abdominal pressure and improve core strength. This technique focuses on activating the deep abdominal muscles while simultaneously lowering intra-abdominal pressure, which can enhance posture and support pelvic floor health. Often used in fitness and rehabilitation, Hypopressives can be beneficial for those looking to strengthen their core and improve overall body awareness.

1:1 HYPOPRESSIVES 1 HOUR £40 (Bournville, Birmingham UK)

Hypopressives are a series of postural and breathing exercises designed to reduce abdominal pressure and improve core strength. This technique focuses on activating the deep abdominal muscles while simultaneously lowering intra-abdominal pressure, which can enhance posture and support pelvic floor health. Often used in fitness and rehabilitation, Hypopressives can be beneficial for those looking to strengthen their core and improve overall body awareness. Its a fantastic tool for prolapse and pelvic floor issues.
The first session will include an assessment of your posture, understanding your health a pelvic floor systems and teaching you with 360 diaphragmatic breathing. We will then start to learn the Hypopressives postures. Sessions may incorporate some mobility and body strength exercises.
